This 46mm Louis Moinet Derrick Steel Limited Edition (ref LM-64.10B.20) comes with an stainless steel case, Black Alligator strap with folding clasp, and a beautiful open work blue dial. The highly creative oil pumping system adorns the front of the watch. The traditional, distinctive components of the derrick are shown - the main shaft and horse head, the drive shaft, and its counterweight. The result is a powerful, minimalist display, with a cycle that repeats three times a minute. Pulling off this technical feat required the use of an extremely lightweight, avant-garde material: the automaton has been made entirely out of brushed aluminium. lt is powered by the watch mechanism itself. Two wheels can be seen behind the derrick; the one located at six o'clock is used to display the seconds.
This rare and stunning watch is a Limited Edition of just 10 pieces, this being 09/10 in New Unworn condition and comes complete with its original inner and outer boxes and all paperwork being originally supplied as new in February 2023.
